Trip to Yosemite

We had a great time at Yosemite last Monday, Tim's day off. Unfortunately it was National Parks Week, so the entry fee was waived. I say unfortunately because there were many more people there than a normal weekday, and we had already purchased a year pass. We still had a good time though. It was fun to see how different it looked since the last time we'd been there in late October. We hope to go again at least one more time when the waterfalls are at their peak!

A couple days before our trip, I had a girls day with Norah and Maggie. Norah enjoyed her first smoothie... and poking her fingers through the side of the styrofoam cup while we were driving home from the store. She was completely covered in blueberry colored sticky stuff. (I did get it all out though!) And this was after I poured hers into my empty cup because she accidentally punched a hole in the side of the cup with the straw, or so I thought. Oh well! We had fun, and you can see here she didn't mind being stripped down before lunch.

Sweet little bonnet, sweater, and bootie set from my great aunt. I got the sweater on her and she spit up all over it, of course. So only the bonnet made it in the pictures.

We stopped just after entering Yosemite for a little break. Norah wanted to "sit onna big wock!"

This is right after going through the long tunnel. Beautiful view from here. Tons of people taking pictures and we didn't get a single one to take a picture of all of us.

Yosemite Falls
Norah sure loved riding in the "pack-ack," and didn't mind taking a quick snooze while we hiked down from Yosemite Falls. It didn't last long though, as she was really interested in all the things around us. That girl can't miss a thing!

Mirror Lake, notice the reflection in the lake... ;-)
On our way out... this is the same view as the photo of me holding both girls. It looked neater in person though at this time of day.

Maggie liked her ride too! She was very alert. Because of her hat, I could never see what she was doing. It was pretty funny because she kept turning her head and getting the hat all goofed up.
