Aaron's Latest

Aaron's up to all kinds of new things lately. He loves to explore the house now. Consequently, all doors now remain closed while he's awake. His favorite room is the bathroom... oh boy. He interacts with his sisters a TON more now. He's not afraid to torment them either. I let him too. They've bugged him plenty! He is beginning to eat table food now. So far he has enjoyed graham crackers and those baby biscuit things, pretzels (I know!), and scrambled eggs in addition to those baby puff and little tastes of other things here and there. He waves, he tries to clap (it's hilarious!), and he is beginning to pull himself up on furniture. He easily moves from crawling position to sitting to laying and back again and likes to kneel now while he's playing. He knows just where his toys are and takes great joy in pulling toy after toy out of his basket until the living room is filled with everything he likes to play with. Let's see, what else? Oh, he doesn't use the baby tub anymore. I hate that thing and all the space it takes up. Aaron has two teeth and weighs between 22 and 23 pounds. Seems like he's quickly gaining these days. He eats a TON of baby food and other things and hasn't begun weaning at all yet. I just can't believe how quickly he's growing up! Two months until the big birthday. Wow!
Sick with a cold, but still plenty happy to have new things to play with. He's pretty good about figuring out how things work. He has that mechanical boy mind already! Give him a car and he immediately turns it over to check the wheels, etc.
It's really too bad he's such a grumpy child.
Check me out, Mom! I can stand in my crib. He did this the ENTIRE time I put laundry away in his room.
Again with that sour puss face...

Pictures from Easter 2012

Easter Bunny and egg hunt in Correctionville. I later took Norah to the one in Anthon as well. She was too scared to get anywhere near the Easter Bunny for a picture or high five... or even looking at him.

Quite the haul! They were happy to be in the same age group 0-3. Next year Norah will have some tougher competition. Though she did fine on her own in Anthon in the 5 and under group.
EB is going to have to hide Norah's baskets a LOT tougher next year. She's a much better basket finder than I ever was. I still have nightmares, er, fond memories, of searching for EVER for my baskets.
Aaron wasted no time dumping his baskets out.
That clever Easter Bunny! He know just exactly the kind of divided plate to get so that it stacks well with the ones we already have. Norah is also happy to know he "shops" at Target.

Grammy bought these matching dresses for the girls, and their two little girl cousins also have them. Too bad we couldn't have them all together for a real sweet picture of the 4 of them. Love the $1 Easter hats from Target, don't you?
Clearly Aaron loved them! ;)
We may have worn him out!
