Let's Just Pretend It Hasn't Been 4 Months

Sorry! I have no excuse. Let's just skip a few months. Here's what we've been up to in Feburary.

The girls are my little helpers. They love to get their shopping baskets out and take the things I need for dinner, etc. upstairs for me.
Maggie turned 2 Feburary 5. She had a rainbow party. Maybe I'll get around to a separate post just for those pictures. We did some neat decorations and ideas!
Norah is my little crafter. I don't mind when she has projects to do, then I get to work on my own!
Great handwriting for a 3 year old!
We tried to potty train Maggie, but she lost interest and we're going to try again next week.
I know this is a bad picture, but it's hard to get any of the boy sitting still these days. He finally really figured out rolling and he's everywhere! The girls never rolled all over the floor. Aaron's torturing his sisters by getting into anything they leave out.
It was nice to have enough snow that we could play outside the week after Maggie's birthday. We used the sleds Grandma and Grandpa gave the girls and slid down the little hill in our yard. They had a blast. I guess we'll take another run at it next winter...
We do a lot of crafts. This was supposed to be for V-Day, but the noodle I dyed weren't dry enough. I was pretty impressed that neither girl needed help getting a piece of yarn through a penne noodle. Go hand-eye coordination!!!
Fat baby! Still growing like crazy, and his hair is growing too finally.
This is one of the things at the play area at the mall in Sioux City. We've been there a couple times lately. It's a great thing for the girls when they have been dragged around doing errands with me all day long. You should see these two monkeys. Can't wait for Aaron to be big enough - he'll love it!
We made (um, and ate) peanut butter playdough the other day. The girls had a blast. In case you can't tell, we do a lot of projects and activities. I love it, but I do look forward to letting them run outside instead of trying to come up with more and more and more actitivies to stimulate them.
Aaron and Maggie seem to have a special bond. He thinks she's hilarious, and she loves nothing more than to make him laugh hysterically... and he's only too happy to oblige!
Aaron is in the eating groove! Where the girls preferred fruits, Aaron would rather have veggies. His first love was peas, but squash has taken over the #1 spot. Bananas are his favorite fruit, and he doesn't turn any food down!
Norah's doing some reading prep lessons on my computer now, and she loves the games, etc. I've got tons of ideas for homeschool to work out, and I'm excited to get started more formally in the Fall with our version of Kindergarten when she's 4. For now, we do lots of reading and writing prep and crafts, etc. Now if only there were more time in the day....
