Comparing Our Girls

Here's something interesting I discovered last night... I weighed Maggie and pulled out Norah's baby book to compare. Maggie weighed 16.8 pounds according to our scale. At 9 months, Norah was 16 lbs. 14 oz. WOW! I can't believe Maggie is that big already! At the rate we're going, they'll be sharing clothes in no time.

June Pictures of Norah and Maggie

I guess I missed this and the next one with the SF pictures. Norah had a blast playing with her cousin (2nd?), Holly, who is only 4 days younger. She especially loved the piano! Neat to see the differences in them. Norah has Holly by about half a head, but Holly has at least 5 pounds on Norah. Again, Norah showed herself as a leader, but wasn't bossy or mean (SO THANKFUL!).

Maggie at 18 weeks old. She loves tummy time now, finally. I think that's because whatever reflux she had seems to be gone now. She started rolling over yesterday too.

"Mama, I JUMPin!" Norah loves to dance around and play silly games. I think this was Ring Around the Rosie.

I recently purchased this mei tai style carrier from babyhawk.com. It's wonderful. Norah and Maggie can both use it, and it's for front or back. Norah calls is, "MY pack-pack" and isn't too happy when it's Maggie's turn.

Maggie's first little pony tail... hehe. We don't do this regularly, but it was sure fun to play!

Norah really enjoys when we all get on our bed and play games, sing songs, and read stories. This time it was tickle time. Maggie loves it too. In fact, this is what she looks like most of the time when Norah is around her. We are going to have a major case of sibling worship on our hands in a couple years!

I think this was the first time Norah had eaten watermelon whole like this. She did a great job, and of course had the typical stream of watermelon juice down her arm by the time she was done. Welcome to summer!

Norah helped me make Raspberry Jello Pretzel Salad. She got to lick the top of the Cool Whip container. :) Mommy's little helper.

Maggie already loves the high chair, even though we won't be starting cereal for a little bit yet. Norah enjoys helping out by bringing her toys, and even pushing her around in the high chair as if it's a stroller.

San Francisco

Typical San Francisco fog prevented us from really getting a great shot of the Golden Gate Bridge. I guess summer is not a great time to visit...

Tim enjoyed (ha!) driving us down Lombard Street. There were some crazy people who were standing in the middle of the road all the way down and just expected us to wait for them...

I believe this is the view from Tim's aunt and uncle's back porch.

Norah had fun coloring and playing with Tim's aunt and a second cousin, who is only 4 days younger!
